Terms & Conditions
At PNG Fishing Tackle and PNG Bargain Hunters, we believe in customer satisfaction from quality at an affordable price. In keeping with our goal to be a reputable retailer of high quality merchandise sourced from reputable overseas suppliers for the local PNG customer, PNG Fishing Tackle and PNG Bargain Hunters will provide refunds and (or) replacements upon successfully meeting requirements as per stated in our “Refunds & Retunds Policy.“
All returns, including online orders, will be processed at the PNG Fishing Tackle and PNG Bargain Hunters showcase counter at Courts, Gordons, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.
Refunds will only be made using the original payment method stated on your proof of purchase. Please note that any delivery fees paid are non-refundable.
Faulty Product Returns Policy
This does not include damage caused by misuse or change of mind. Major fault or failure is when the product:
- has a problem that would have stopped you buying it had you known about it;
- is unsafe;
- is significantly different from the description of the product;
- or does not do what we said it would do;
- a manufacturing fault.
If the problem is not major, we may elect to give you a free repair.
You will be given a grace period of 90 days in which you can return faulty product(s) to be repaired or replaced. A proof of purchase must be shown within this time period to be deemed applicable for repairs and replacements. Any product(s) presented after the grace period will rescind the grace period.
If we cannot repair the product within a reasonable time, at our discretion a refund or replacement with a similar item may be awarded.
In this instance, you are entitled to the following:
- a refund of the purchase cost;
- replacement with a similar valued item;
We reserve the right to refuse to provide a refund, repair or replacement if the problem has, for instance, arisen because the product was misused by the customer.
Proof of Purchase
Returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase (ie. invoice). In the absence of such proof of purchase, PNG Fishing Tackle and PNG Bargain Hunters retain the right to refuse a refund.
Some products come with an additional manufacturer’s warranty as indicated in the documentation provided with the relevant products. Should you wish to make any claim under a manufacturer’s warranty, you can do so directly with the relevant manufacturer. Our team may also assist you with an enquiry of this nature.

Product returns or exchange are made at our showcase counter at Courts, Gordons, National Capital District.
